Pueblo, Colorado Receives EPA Grant

Pueblo, Colorado received welcome news from the EPA this week. Pueblo is a growing community just south of the nationally acclaimed third-best city to live, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The El Centro del Quinto Sol Community Center is popular for its open-air activities. It will benefit from asbestos clean-up and increased services. The Steel Works History Museum and 60 brownfield sites will also receive asbestos abatement.

Pueblo is considered by homeowners as a more affordable option to Colorado Springs. Approximately 45 miles south of Colorado Springs, the city is home to the University of Colorado, Pueblo, and the Pueblo Bulls Junior U20 hockey team. The Historic Riverwalk along the Arkansas River is also a favorite, boasting music and local cuisine through the summer months.
